TRAILER WRECK
Privacy policy
Peak Apps Studio · Effective 9 October 2026
Peak Apps Studio develops TRAILER WRECK. Contact info@peakappsstudio.com for privacy questions or requests. This policy covers the game and its separate support website, including online-enabled versions. Features available to you depend on your installed version.
Offline play and local progress
Race progression, Wreck Coins, vehicle unlocks, settings, rewards and challenges are saved on your device. They are not a cross-device cloud save. Clearing app data or uninstalling can erase them. The game has no advertising. We do not intentionally use data for advertising or cross-app tracking. Optional Unity behavioural analytics and advertising consent are disabled in the online release configuration.
In-app purchases
The game offers optional purchases of cosmetic items (cars and paints) and a Double Coins perk. Purchases never make your car faster or stronger. Payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies; we never receive your card or bank details. The game receives the purchase confirmation from the store (product identifier, transaction or order identifier, receipt and purchase status) through Unity In-App Purchasing to deliver the item and to restore it with RESTORE PURCHASES. Owned items are stored on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Online identity and races
The game uses Unity Gaming Services. When an online-enabled version connects, including background connection from the main menu, Unity Authentication creates or restores an anonymous Player ID and saves sign-in credentials locally. You do not provide a password or social-media login. The driver name you choose (letters and numbers, filtered for offensive words), your Trailer ID, friend relationships, invitations, presence, private rooms, public Quick Match membership and race state are processed to operate online play. Players in your room see your display name, car and race activity. Keep private-room codes private. A shared room link contains only the room code; the join page on this website reads the code in your browser and stores nothing. Quick Match can connect you with players you do not know.
Unity Authentication, Friends, Lobby / Multiplayer Services and Relay process Player IDs, IP addresses, approximate location inferred from the IP address, device or session identifiers, connection metadata, diagnostics and performance metrics for service operation, reliability, security and fraud prevention. Essential service analytics used by Relay and Vivox are separate from the optional behavioural analytics disabled by the game. Relay carries live game-network traffic. This release does not enable public ranked leaderboards or cloud progression.
Optional voice and microphone
Voice uses Unity Vivox. The game explains voice use before requesting microphone permission. Racing remains available if you decline. If you opt into automatic lobby voice, the microphone starts when you enter an online room after permission. You can turn it off at any time; MIC OFF is remembered across rooms and restarts. The main menu and background do not capture your microphone. Vivox processes live audio, participant IDs and network / device diagnostics to connect the channel. Other participants may hear you while your microphone is on. This game does not record voice, transcribe speech, enable text-to-speech or create voice recordings. Racing remains available if you decline permission.
You can mute the lobby or a player, adjust voice volume, turn the microphone off, disconnect voice or leave. Voice blocks are stored on your device until unblocked and do not ban racers. See community rules and reporting.
Diagnostics, support and reports
The game's rotating local error logs can include the app version, device model, operating system, graphics details, errors and stack traces. The local logger does not automatically upload them. Required service connection and security diagnostics may be processed by Unity when online services are used.
If you contact us, we receive the email address, messages and attachments you send. Reports can include player IDs, display names, a timestamp and your description. We use these to respond, troubleshoot, review abuse or handle deletion requests. We do not automatically send screenshots, local logs or recordings to support. Never include passwords or unnecessary personal information.
Providers and retention
Unity processes service data under its Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. Unity Friends retains relationship identifiers until relationships or the identity are deleted; its published overview describes IP logs retained for 30 days. Lobby and Vivox documentation describes relevant service / connection logs retained for 30 days. Other provider security records may have separate periods. These are provider policies, not a guarantee that all data is erased immediately with account deletion.
Live race state and voice are used during a session. Local progress remains until removed on your device. We keep support and abuse correspondence only as needed to resolve requests, protect users and meet legal obligations, then delete or minimize it. Providers may process data outside your country.
Cloudflare hosts this support website and handles IP addresses and ordinary request metadata to deliver and protect it. We add no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. The deletion form stays in your browser and opens an email draft; it does not upload entries to this website.
Your rights and deletion
You may request access, correction or deletion of data associated with your Player ID by email. Rights depend on your jurisdiction; you may also contact the relevant data-protection authority. Profile → DELETE ONLINE ACCOUNT deletes friend relationships and the anonymous Authentication identity, then clears saved credentials. Local progression remains. For associated provider logs or if you cannot access the game, use the account and data deletion page. We may need to verify the account and coordinate with Unity; security, abuse or legally required records may remain.
Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information so we can investigate and arrange appropriate deletion. Store age ratings also apply.
Changes
We revise this policy when data practices change and update the effective date. Significant changes are communicated through the game or store listing where appropriate.
